Albert you are on Aminus too? That's no ordinary boat. Great detail lovely image.
Albert Perpinyŗ: I am in both places, at least at the moment. Nice to hear from you again.

I immediately thought of Moses and the bulrushes, Albert. smile Now I won't be able to get that out of my head.
Albert Perpinyŗ: Except for the fishing rod in between the boats smile Nice day Ginnie.
Bon tractament! M'agrada més aquesta que la d'aminus3.
salutacions
Albert Perpinyŗ: A mi tamb√©. Hi ha fotos que es presten a ser tractades. Bona jornada.
I like this version better Albert. You have made it into a very nice b&w
Albert Perpinyŗ: I like it better too. Have a nice day Bill
Do they still use these boats Albert?
Albert Perpinyŗ: I think so. Unbelievable, isn't it. They don't go too far though. Nice day Chris
Amazing difference Albert. Cropping and converting to b&w makes a totally different picture. I like them both.
Albert Perpinyŗ: Thanks Sheila. Cheers.

Nice composition and conversion Albert.
They dont seem to move very often.
Albert Perpinyŗ: No, they don't. They belong to local fishermenwho use them only once in a while

I presume this is the same place as yesterday's post. The boat looks like it's been there for ever - a real timeless feel.
Ingrid
Albert Perpinyŗ: Yes, it is. The Ebre River Delta. 2 hours away from my home in Barcelona to the South. The timeless feel was the intention of the conversion.
I much prefer this version Albert! Great use of B&W here!
Albert Perpinyŗ: Me too. Thanks Richard.
Great composition Albert that works very well in B&W.
Albert Perpinyŗ: Thanks Brian

sharp contrasts, but it is ok!
Albert Perpinyŗ: I doubted a lot about that but finally decided I liked it like this. You may be right though. Your honest criticism makes me rethink and learn and therefore is more than welcome. Thanks Vera.
Very nice in B&W.
Albert Perpinyŗ: Thanks Bernie
lovely composition Albert which suits the conversion wellsmile

How good, Albert.
I really like the mood you created on this picture. In Suriname we still use these boats. They are made by people in the rainforest and it's important to them for travelling.
Albert Perpinyŗ: Here they are only used for fishing in the river. It was like in Suriname a few years ago but not any more.

Great picture.

PS. I scrolled the sky out of the picture and I think it would look even better if cropped that way.
Albert Perpinyŗ: How do you know I doubted there? Thanks Louis.
nice contrast and comp, great BW shot ...
Albert Perpinyŗ: Thanks Mohammad
